Rick Lynch, E- RYT 500 [Registered Yoga Teacher with over 500 hrs of training] is a yoga teacher’s teacher. He has studied, practiced and experienced Yoga for over 30 years with a focus since 1985 in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar. He has trained and still continues his study with Francois Raoult and other senior teachers around the world.

Since 1989 Rick has taught locally and internationally, leading many trips to Thailand and India for yoga vacations and retreats. He has conducted classes at Open Sky Yoga in Rochester since 1989, at his studio Finger Lakes Yoga in Canandaigua since 1993, and at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua since 2000. Since 2007, Rick has co-evolved yoga programs for Wegman’s.

Rick's Philosophy

Rick brings his training of anatomy and the heart opening experience of the yoga practice to his high quality instruction. Also influencing his teaching is his love and experiences in nature. He has spent most of his adult life in wilderness and white water canoeing, trekking, skiing, and riding his motorcycles.

Carrie Heintzelman's goal is to share yoga with laughter, lightness and positivity while encouraging a committed practice that is based on the needs of our body and demands on our mind. Carrie is a graduate 2013 of the 200 hr Essential Teacher Training at Open Sky Yoga with Francois Raoult. Also Back Care Teacher Training 2016. Since then teaching through out the community at corporate and yoga centers.
She practices yoga to help her be the best she can be.As someone who craves outdoor physical activity she learned her body craved another,more gentle, patient approach to opening and releasing body and mind!
She teaches yoga from her heart.
Yoga is an art, a science, and philosophy for personal development.
Yoga will help build strength, develop flexibility and improve harmony with in yourself.
Yoga reduces the effects of stress. Therapeutic in nature, yoga can help alleviate physical problems by bringing balance to the whole system.
